They have been using larger models in aquaculture for years. One of the downsides...unfiltered water bypasses the filter when it diverts to the wheel.

It reminded me a lot of Tanked, they didn't really show much of what we wanted to see. I know personally, I wanted to see more of what's behind the tank, the life support. But it still looked like it was more about entertainment than educations...I hope this isn't how the whole season is going to be.

i just got the 50w fixtures and am not happy with it very low par on a frag tank that is 12" tall,i did the par reading with a quantum meter . it read 140 above water and 6" high from the tank . cadligths claims this . i hate been lied to .

One note on the article, as someone from a family of police officers, regarding reaching for your phone to show the officer photographs. If the phone is on your waist band or in your pocket, tell/ask the officer BEFORE reaching for it.

We've had one at Old Town Aquarium for over a year now. It spends all day hiding behind rocks, so it goes unnoticed unless someone asks me what our most expensive fish is. We're only asking $1000 for it. That's kind of cheap.

Thank you for sharing! Our staffer is really happy with the performance and general look of the lights. He has had to get used to the change from T5 to LED, and is currently running them at 30% intensity to prevent burning his coral. Hopefully he'll keep us posted on how they do with growth!
